Welcome to Scuno, Jaipur’s leading electric scooter rental platform. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

1. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old.

  • A valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory to rent a scooter.

  • Users must have a functioning smartphone with internet access and GPS capability.

 

2. Booking and Usage

  • Bookings must be made through the Scuno mobile application.

  • Users must verify personal details including phone number and email before confirming any booking.

  • Users are responsible for checking scooter condition before starting the ride.

  • Each ride begins and ends at the specified start and drop location or within the permitted service zones.

 

3. Rental Duration and Charges

  • Rental rates are based on hourly or daily usage and will be displayed on the app before booking confirmation.

  • Additional charges may apply for late return, overtime usage, or damages.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Users can cancel a booking via the app before the ride starts.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 5–7 business days.

 

5. User Responsibilities

  • Riders must obey all traffic rules and drive responsibly.

  • Helmets are mandatory. Scuno recommends wearing a helmet for every ride.

  • Any loss or damage to the scooter or accessories due to negligence will be charged to the user.

  • Users must not allow unauthorized individuals to ride the scooter.

 

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use a Scuno scooter:

  • Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances.

  • For racing, stunts, or off-road activity.

  • For towing, pushing, or transporting people or goods in violation of traffic rules.

 

7. Safety and Maintenance

  • Scuno performs regular maintenance checks on all scooters.

  • Users must report any issue, malfunction, or accident through the app or customer support immediately.

  • In case of an accident, the user must notify Scuno and local authorities as required by law.

 

8. Data and Privacy

  • By using Scuno, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

  • Scuno uses GPS tracking to monitor vehicle location for safety and service purposes.

 

9. Liability

  • Scuno is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of its vehicles.

  • Users are liable for any fines, legal issues, or third-party claims arising from misuse of the scooter during their booking.

 

10. Termination of Account

Scuno reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user account without notice for:

  • Violation of these terms.

  • Fraudulent activity or document submission.

  • Damage or repeated misuse of scooters.

 

11. Changes to Terms

Scuno reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted in the app and will become effective immediately upon posting.
